Silvia Ribero is a performing artist with a polymorphic education and career, always moving between genres and disciplines.
She is also a performing arts researcher and pedagogue, with special interest towards theatre anthropology and the connections between actor's practice and spirituality.
As performing artist, after an early actress-education and career, she started experimenting hybrid performing forms, first with dance and physical theatre, then with singing, music and visuals.
On a mature phase she turned into a transdiciplinary performer, concluding that human's expressive languages can be used in integrated forms, throughout specific training, specific artistic choices and of course individual sensitivity.
In 2013 she founded the intercultural and transdisciplinary theatre collective BILOURA, a nomadic and experimental artistic platform for artists, scientists and intellectuals coming from all over the world.
Her path in Art is expressed by her personal theatre research among the years of her work by different companies and projects.
Her reason in Art is to - at once - celebrate and discover one self and life through Beauty, and contribute to society evolution with artistic political actions.
